Great news 🎉 We received our final samples of all our products and have approved them. That means everything will on a plane very soon and making their way to the us and our partner fulfillment partners! We're still on track to have everything arrive in December, right in time for the holidays. As always, thank you so much for your continued support and patience.

September Update: product upgrades + mass production 🔥👀

Hello fellow spies💜
We hope you've all been doing well! It's been awhile since our last update and that's because we’ve been hard at work to make sure your game is the best it can possibly be. There were slight delays due to some changes we made to make our products even better for you. We wanted to give you a quick update on a few changes we’ve made:
Play-mat upgrades: After physically quality-checking the products, we’ve decided to upgrade the play-mat. Instead of thin cloth play-mats, we upgraded them to neoprene with non-slip backing and full edge stitching. We also changed the design of the playmats for a more fun, engaging gameplay. Don't worry - all the playmats can still fit in the briefcase and they'll be the same price as before (just better)!
Pin enhancements: We’ve made some adjustments to the pin design to ensure it moves more smoothly.
KSE card modifications: We’ve tweaked the material of the Kickstarter Exclusive (KSE) card to make sure it matched the thickness and weight of the other cards. This way, it will feel seamless during gameplay.
Pledge Manager info
We’ll be sending out the pledge manager closer to November, so you'll have a chance to update your shipping address and handle any other details - we'll post another update reminding you to fill out your shipping information.

August Updates: samples photos + Gen Con 💜

Hello Spies💜
As promised, we wanted to keep you updated on every step of the journey, and we're happy to report that production is going smoothly and we are still on track with our timeline.
We are so excited to share photos of the SpyOuts samples! We have some feedback for our manufacturer, such as adding embossing to briefcase and revisiting the thickness of our play-mats in order to provide the very best experience for our backers. After we quality check the products and give our manufacturer feedback, we should start final mass production soon.
As we get closer to the shipping date, look out for an email with the link to the pledge manager. Within the pledge manager, you will provide your shipping address and get charged shipping. You can also add more add-ons if you'd like at that time. We will send another update regarding pledge manager and how to fill out the link.
Are you at Gen Con? Because we are! 😱
We're at booth #2759 at Gen Con! We won't have SpyOuts there but we'll have other products, such as Not So Neighborly and its accessories. Feel free to come by and say hi. We're always happy to see our backers!

Huge Production Updates: dolls, pins, and games! 🔥

Hi everyone 🧡
We have some exciting updates to share! Thanks to your incredible support and patience, we’re excited to share that our production phase is moving along smoothly and right on schedule.
Reversible Barry dolls are in production! We've reviewed the initial samples and provided final feedback. The manufacturer is now creating a pre-production sample before mass production. Check out our samples on TikTok!
Sliding enamel pin sample created! We're working with the manufacturer to ensure the sunglasses stay in the 'up' position, as they currently tilt due to their weight. We will need to create another sample once we figure out how to keep the sunglasses from tilting.
Finished the KSE card design! We have Grumf in his 'hacker' style. The holographic effect will be applied on top of the design to give it a special look.
Quotes are finalized! After thorough discussions with the manufacturer, the quotes are set. They will now start creating molds and samples for the other products (game, briefcase edition, play mats, etc.).
Briefcase version updates! We've designed the metal briefcase to double as a lunchbox or display item, with marketing details on a removable cardboard sleeve to keep the briefcase looking sleek.

One Month In - KSE Action Card and Production Updates! 🎉

Data Breach is going to officially be added to SpyOuts. This Kickstarter-exclusive action card allows you to choose a player to reset a player's code, including a completed one. Thanks for being a part of the journey and helping us choose the KSE card! As mentioned previously, the KSE card will have a holographic effect and we are working on the artwork right now. 🔥
Since the end of the Kickstarter campaign, we’ve been busy coordinating with our manufacturer to finalize specs and create samples. Here’s what we’ve done so far:
Ordered sample of doll: We’ve looked at fabrics and picked out a few to create a sample of the reversible doll. After we send the specs and files, our manufacturer sent us pictures of the sample. It's very cute but we had some minor feedback; they're in the process of making a second sample.
Ordered enamel pin: We’ve finalized the specs for our enamel pin and backing card. Our manufacturer is currently arranging a sample for us to look at to make sure it's correct before mass production.
Finalizing specs: We are making sure all the artwork and spelling is correct before handing off to our manufacturer. We are still on schedule!
As we get more and more photos/videos of our other products, we’re excited to share them with you. As always, we are so thankful for the support and encouragement from our Backers. We can't wait for you all to play our game. Thank you for helping us bring SpyOuts to life!
